The Yellow Pages

/ De Gule Sider

Time: 2009-2010, Copenhagen Denmark

I have had the joy of working for a few years for the YELLOW PAGES /DGS.DK, where I did full-page ADs, half-page and smaller ADs.

Sometimes there was only the copy from the client as a starting point, and you had to come up with graphics, colour scheme, typography and layout.

Other clients provided a set design manual, a website and perhaps a logo, and then the job was to make the AD aligning with the design and "look and feel" from the co-existing material.

What I learnt from that was:

Gaining a quick analytic approach.

Locate suitable elements graphics, typography & colour scheme.

Working with many different businesses.

Layouting with focus on CTA (call to action).
